Connect your sites across Asia around one business outcome. Express Projects coordinates infrastructure projects across APAC, with a focus on China, Hong Kong and India. Equipment supply and handling, installation, workload migration and provider connectivity have distinct scopes, approvals and operating owners.
What to prepare
- Business outcome, origin/destination sites and local contacts
- Equipment and application dependencies, including what actually moves
- Provider arrangements, permitted interruption and sign-off owners
What you receive
- Connected project scope with separate workstream owners
- Origin/destination readiness and phased change plan
- Acceptance evidence and cross-location operating handover
Explore the project structure
Confirm rack dimensions, power allocation, cable paths and access before installation. Facility and specialist-contractor tasks have separate owners.
Conceptual planning view. Final architecture is agreed for the project.Plan four connected workstreams
Separate equipment supply and handling, site installation, workload migration and network connectivity. Map the dependencies between sites and agree the providers, approvals and acceptance checks for each. A regional programme can combine new installations, upgrades and relocations without treating them as the same task.
Prepare every APAC location
Check site access, racks, power, cooling, provider circuits and cloud dependencies in each delivery location. China, Hong Kong and India are focus markets within the wider APAC programme. Agree local receiving arrangements, change windows and any transport, customs or specialist contractor responsibilities before scheduling the work.
Hand over a connected operating environment
Test installed equipment, application paths and recovery decisions at each site and across the agreed network. Record configuration, exceptions and sign-off owners. Handover distinguishes IT operations from facility, equipment-supplier and connectivity-provider duties, with continuing management scoped where required.
