Move workloads with a plan for the applications and the people who will run them. Express Projects coordinates discovery, destination readiness, migration and acceptance, then defines any continuing cloud management. Keep workload ownership, provider services and infrastructure operations clear at each stage.
What to prepare
- Workload, data and integration inventory with business owners
- Destination accounts, regions, licensing and access approvals
- Interruption limits, recovery requirements and operating expectations
What you receive
- Workload assessment and destination-readiness plan
- Migration sequence with acceptance and rollback decisions
- Cloud configuration, recovery and operating responsibility records
Explore the project structure
Place each workload using its dependencies, data needs and operating model. Account boundaries and regional availability need their own checks.
Conceptual planning view. Final architecture is agreed for the project.Discover workloads and prepare the destination
Map applications, data, integrations and ownership. Scope the landing zone, identity and access, networking, backup and security requirements. Mainland China and global cloud environments need independent assessment of region, account, service and provider conditions.
Move workloads with approval points
Group migrations around dependencies and acceptable interruption. Define replication or transfer methods, validation and rollback decisions for each workload. Confirm data-handling approvals, access and licenses before executing the agreed change.
Make cloud operations accountable
Put resource records, access ownership, monitoring, backup checks and incident routes into the handover. Define cost reporting, budget reviews and who can approve a change. The managed-cloud agreement names the accounts, services and tasks covered, with provider support and application responsibilities identified alongside them.
