Review cross-border connectivity

Connect mainland China offices, data centers and users with your international business systems. Express Projects plans the network, coordinates carrier services, configures the agreed connections and validates application performance for the locations in scope.

What to prepare

  • China and international locations, cloud environments and business applications
  • Current circuits, traffic needs, change windows and provider contacts
  • Customer security policies, required approvals and acceptance criteria

What you receive

  • Application requirements and agreed carrier connectivity design
  • Routing, security and application acceptance-test records
  • Configuration documentation and agreed operating responsibilities

Start with the applications

China's internet filtering, commonly called the Great Firewall, and cross-border congestion can affect business applications. We map traffic between your China sites, Hong Kong, other offices and cloud platforms, then assess routing, DNS, identity, capacity and security needs. Mainland and global cloud environments are checked separately.

Build on appropriate carrier services

Compare available licensed-carrier private WAN, MPLS and international private-line options such as IPLC or IEPL, with SD-WAN where appropriate. We coordinate the chosen provider and integrate routing, firewalls and agreed encryption. Carrier availability, permitted use, approvals and commercial terms are confirmed for the specific endpoints; SD-WAN does not replace the underlying service.

Prove the connection, then support it

Test the business workflows that matter: sign-in, cloud access, file transfer and collaboration. Record latency, packet loss, throughput and failover against agreed acceptance criteria. Hand over configuration records, dependencies and escalation contacts; monitoring and ongoing management can be included in the service scope.

Questions before you start

Connect China sites to international business systems with carrier service planning, SD-WAN integration, application testing and agreed ongoing management.

How do you address the Great Firewall?

We assess the applications your teams need, compare appropriate licensed-provider services and test the agreed enterprise network design. Application access and performance depend on the selected service and permitted use; unrestricted access is not guaranteed.

Does SD-WAN replace a cross-border carrier connection?

No. SD-WAN manages traffic across available network links and may use encrypted overlays. The underlying carrier connections, service availability and required approvals must be assessed separately.

Can connectivity be scoped independently of a hardware move?

Yes. Equipment relocation, application or data migration and network connectivity are separate workstreams. We can coordinate them, with a defined scope and acceptance checks for each.
