Give day-to-day IT work a clear operating model. Express Projects can manage agreed infrastructure and support tasks, work alongside your internal team, or take over after a project. The service names the systems covered, who acts on an issue and how changes, reporting and escalation will work.
What to prepare
- Sites, users, systems and the tasks you want managed
- Current issues, configuration records and provider agreements
- Required service windows, approval owners and reporting needs
What you receive
- Supported systems, service coverage and responsibility matrix
- Incident, maintenance and escalation procedures
- Operating records and agreed service-review reporting
Explore the project structure
Name the owner of each dependency, approval and test. Scope changes should remain visible to the customer and the delivery team.
Conceptual planning view. Final architecture is agreed for the project.Define the supported environment
Start with the sites, users, supported systems and current issues. Allocate service-desk routing, monitoring, remote administration and any scheduled site work. Record the tasks your team retains and the external providers responsible for circuits, cloud services, hardware warranties and specialist applications.
Coordinate incidents and planned maintenance
Agree how issues are reported, prioritized and escalated. Define patch approval, maintenance windows and change records. Coverage windows, attendance arrangements and response commitments follow the contract rather than an assumed round-the-clock service.
Review operations with useful records
Handover or maintain asset and configuration references, incident history and agreed reports. Review recurring issues, outstanding risks and proposed changes with the customer’s owners. New equipment or locations should be assessed before they enter the support scope.
