Google Cloud
Google Cloud’s catalog includes virtual machines, object storage, managed SQL, Kubernetes and data analytics platforms. A migration brief should connect the intended products with application dependencies, identity, networking and operational ownership rather than selecting a provider by name alone. Product availability differs by location and service. Verify the intended region, access path, data placement and recovery design; a global catalog does not establish an available or compliant deployment for every mainland-China scenario.
Environment requirements
- Products, target location and current account environment
- Application dependencies and data-placement needs
- Identity, connectivity and observability requirements
- Cutover, recovery and cost-management responsibilities
Selection considerations
- Check the actual product/location matrix
- Mainland access and governance need their own assessment
- Informational profile; Express partner or every-product support status is not asserted
